Playback review of documentary music bed at Vancouver studio

Historical documentary underscore

A BC production team needed a twelve-minute bed that felt archival — warm tape character, restrained strings, no recognisable melodies from existing recordings. Reference notes pointed to late-1970s public-broadcast tone without copying specific works. We generated candidate arrangements via reference-guided composition, then sound-directed mix balance, noise-floor character and edit points across three iteration rounds. Delivered WAV and stem pack; usage limited to festival and broadcaster review.

Indie game ambient zone pack

An unannounced title required four loop-ready ambient zones — coastal fog, interior workshop, transit hub, and night market — each two to four minutes with verified seamless loops. Tempo-locked percussion was excluded per design doc. We produced zones with generative layering, manual loop-point editing and in-engine verification from a client test build. Usage scoped for Steam and console territories under project agreement.

Regional bank sonic identity refresh

A Canadian financial institution sought a sonic logo and hold-music bed aligned to a refreshed visual palette — confident, not corporate-generic, suitable for phone systems and mobile app launch. Six candidate stings in pass one; two refined across iteration rounds with loudness QC for telephony. Full usage-rights summary for national broadcast, branch signage loops and digital advertising.

Podcast network season package

A Vancouver podcast network ordered intro, outro and mid-roll beds for a six-episode investigative season. References cited sparse piano and muted brass — no vocals. We delivered episode-variant themes sharing a harmonic palette, plus loudness-normalised masters targeting −16 LUFS for streaming distribution. Three revision rounds included; additional episode variants quoted per deliverable.

Museum installation soundscape

A temporary exhibition required a twenty-minute evolving soundscape — footfall-adjacent textures, distant tonal elements, no sudden peaks that would startle visitors. Generative ambient layers were composed in sections, crossfaded in post, and mastered for gallery PA at moderate SPL. Usage covered six-month installation term in one Canadian city; renewal quoted separately.
