FAQ
Questions before the resonance pass
Honest answers about how AudioMind works with Canadian clients on music beds, sonic identity and sound design.

AudioMind is a generative-AI audio and music studio — a creative services firm, not a product. These answers reflect how we work with Canadian brands on music beds, sonic logos, sound design and broadcast packages with human curation throughout.
Is AudioMindAI a meditation / wellness-sound app, a music-generator SaaS, or a course?
No. The `.life` TLD is branding only — NOT wellness, meditation, mindfulness or binaural "mind" audio. We are a generative-AI audio & sound studio — a creative services firm producing sound design, music beds, sonic branding and audio post with human curation. We are not a self-serve app or course. "Audio" means sound production; "Mind" means imagination made audible. We use licensed material and consented voices, don't create deceptive audio, and clarify usage rights; AI outputs are always human-reviewed.
How do you engage with clients — project, retainer or per-deliverable?
All three. Per-project CAD quotes suit campaign beds and one-off sonic identity work. Per-deliverable pricing works for catalogue batches — UI sound sets, podcast cue libraries, ambient zone packs. Retainers serve Canadian organisations with ongoing generative audio needs: a defined monthly deliverable count, priority turnaround and a dedicated sound director. Every model includes written project scope, revision rounds and usage-rights terms before work begins.
What are typical CAD budgets?
Focused music-bed packages start around C$2,800–C$5,200. Full sonic-identity sets with multiple iteration rounds range from C$6,800–C$14,500. Podcast season packages from C$4,200. Per-deliverable UI sound batches from C$180 per asset. Game ambient zone packs from C$5,600. Retainers from C$3,600/month for defined deliverable volumes. We provide itemized quotes — no hidden revision fees beyond agreed iteration rounds.
What is your turnaround?
First mix pass on scoped sonic briefs is typically 48 hours to two weeks depending on complexity and stem count. Full sonic-identity packages run two to four weeks. Broadcast packages with loudness QC may add three to five business days. Rush timelines are available at premium rates when studio capacity allows. Turnaround is confirmed in writing at project start.
Which generative audio tools do you use?
We select models and editing tools per brief — text-to-audio and audio-to-audio generation, stem separation, reference-guided composition, mastering chains and loop editing workflows. Tool selection depends on fidelity needs, style requirements and turnaround. We document our approach in project notes without turning proposals into vendor lists. Human sound direction governs all tool choices.
Who owns the finished audio and what are the usage rights?
Clients receive a defined commercial licence per project — channels, territories, duration and sublicensing terms are documented in the deliverable package. AudioMind retains no marketing rights to your audio without separate consent. We retain rights to our methodologies and any custom workflow configurations built under NDA. Full terms are in our terms of service.
How do you handle copyright, samples and voice cloning?
We flag potential copyright or trademark conflicts before generation begins. Clients must have rights to reference materials they supply. We do not clone real voices without written consent. We do not reproduce identifiable copyrighted recordings. Where synthetic audio could be mistaken for a specific live performance, we note origin in deliverable documentation. Clients remain responsible for final usage clearance — our documentation is not legal advice.
How is personal information handled under PIPEDA?
Contact form data is collected with express consent and used only to respond to enquiries. Client project materials are stored securely with access limited to project staff. See our privacy policy for retention periods, access rights and sub-processor details. Privacy enquiries: [email protected].
Do you offer in-person sessions in Vancouver?
Yes. Playback and briefing sessions are available at our Grant Street studio by appointment during business hours. Remote clients receive secure review links with timestamped notes. We serve clients across Canada and internationally; contracts and quotes are in CAD unless otherwise agreed in writing.
